Software Engineer - JavaScript Integrations

As an integrations engineer, it will be your responsibility to work on flexible front end solutions that can be executed on any site in a performant and reliable way.

We work with hundreds of different websites, and we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver solutions in a timely manner at the highest quality.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build Clicktripz javascript bundles that will be run on some of the largest travel websites in the world
  • Quickly addressing bugs and writing adaptable code that can run on a large variety of sites
  • Javascript performance tweaking and benchmarking
  • Maintaining a robust internal javascript framework, SDK, and tooling
  • Working with machine learning tools to detect anomalies and quickly address them

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have strong software development fundamentals through your Bachelor's Degree in CS or have a related degree or experience
  • You have a solid understanding of the web stack
  • You have an intimate understanding of how browsers work and have experience building cross-browser functionality
  • You have experience working in a group environment, building a product with a clear deadline
  • Proficient with version control, ticketing systems, and standard Agile workflow
  • You have great attention to detail, with a meticulous mindset
  • Great communication skills. We are a remote-based, distributed workforce

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have experience building vanilla javascript libraries or frameworks that can be utilized in multiple projects
  • Knowledge of container-based application development and deployment e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience building a Node.js application that handled thousands of requests per day
  • Experience developing data-driven applications using significant relational database engines.

Senior Backend Engineer - Ad Tech

Senior Software Engineer - Data Engineering

As a senior software/data engineer working on our data platform, you will leverage your expertise to help maintain all of the critical ETL pipelines and infrastructure at Clicktripz, while continuing to innovate on the toolset that the rest of the team utilizes to process data within their own systems

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of our ETL service stack
  • Create/maintain our data engineering PaaS for internal use
  • Ensure our data pipeline scales out to support throughput to the tune of billions of records per day with minimal end-to-end latency
  • Coordinate with the Analytics and Data Science teams to define and add new record types to the system
  • Adhere to industry best-practices for unit testing, end-to-end testing, continuous integration, and security to name a few
  • Monitor the state-of-health of the system, and jump in to diagnose the root cause of errors when they occur

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a software/data engineer
  • 2+ years of experience with data warehousing applications utilizing tools like Hadoop, Amazon Redshift, Google Spanner, Apache Hive
  • 2+ years developing cloud-based applications and infrastructures (AWS, GKE, Azure)
  • Experience with real-time streaming applications such as Amazon Kinesis, Apache Kafka, or Apache Storm
  • Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
  • Comfortable building container-based solutions

QA Automation Engineer

As a quality automation engineer, you will be writing a suite of automated tests for several hundreds of travel and travel-adjacent websites that will be run continuously on multiple platforms and devices.

Data Scientist

As a data scientist, you will leverage your expertise to develop machine learning solutions to large scale data-centric problems at one of the largest travel based ad tech companies in the world

  • Use machine learning capabilities to guide feature development and identify new business opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, econometrics or related field. Masters, Ph.D. or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in applied machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis
  • A solid foundation in modern machine learning algorithms
  • Experience using R, Matlab, Jupyter or other statistical software
  • Fluency in Python
  • Experience working with containerized applications and orchestrations systems e.g. Docker, Kubernetes

Product Manager

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead, define, represent and communicate product objectives and requirements
  • Share ownership of Clicktripz’s product portfolio, ensuring that our products work in an integrated manner and can meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders
  • Drive launches, working collaboratively with engineering, data science, UX, and sales teams to ensure alignment with the product strategy
  • Conduct analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of our solution. Guide engineering and UX leaders on what to build
  • Lead A/B tests, user studies and market research to advocate for new functionality that will lead to achieving business goals
  • Product lifecycle management from concept to phasing out of the product(s)
  • Champion a data-driven approach to products and development
  • Translate and communicate outcomes to help teams understand the impact of their work

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management experience
  • Experience building digital products and solutions, whether advertising technology solutions (e.g, DSP, DMP, MTA), marketing technology solutions (e.g., Loyalty, Email, Social, Mobile) or related SaaS solutions sold to Marketers (e.g., Analytics, Personalization)
  • Experience working on analytical dashboards and operational control panels e.g. client-facing dashboard to control a SaaS product
  • Agile development and project management experience
  • Strong analytical ability to derive actionable insights from data
  • Experience working with engineering, data sciences, and sales
  • Solid grasp of HTML, SQL, JavaScript technologies
