Data Scientist - Manhattan Beach, California

Clicktripz is looking for a skilled Data Scientist. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Clicktripz product groups to help them leverage predictive modeling to improve the performance of existing products.
  • Using machine learning capabilities to guide feature development and identify new business opportunities.
  • Partnering with engineering teams to build a world-class machine learning platform.
  • Monitoring and maintaining models in production.
  • Generating client-facing reports of product performance and impact to assist business groups in selling the benefits of the Clicktripz platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or related field. Masters, PhD or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3+ years experience as a software engineer.
  • 2+ years experience in applied machine learning, predictive modeling, and quantitative analysis.
  • Working knowledge of modern machine learning methods such as regression, SVM, random forests, and neural networks.
  • Experience using R, Matlab, or other statistical software.
  • Fluency in Python, and experience with high-performance programming languages such as C++, Java, or C#.
  • Excellent communication skills - while the Data Science group is currently located in Los Angeles, we are a global company with clients and employees all around the world.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of or experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Familiarity with internet advertising technologies a plus
  • Mathematics at or above the upper-division undergraduate level

Senior Data Analyst - Manhattan Beach, California

Serve as trusted counsel on the ever-advancing world of data analytics for Clicktripz. You will unlock the full potential of Clicktripz’ data utilizing business intelligence platforms that tap into the billions of rows of data they store. You will help guide the business development team as they grow our global business, identifying areas of need and of opportunity to bolster revenue. You’ll be involved with both publisher and client reporting, campaign optimizations, data analysis, and building alerts to efficiently manage responsibilities and catch issues as soon as they pop up (instead of being alerted to said issues by clients).

You’ll develop internal reports to track and analyze profit margins and revenue goals and help build out the company’s internal and external reporting and analytics. As a cross-functional player reporting to the VP, Product & Analytics, you will play a key role in structuring analytics and delivering key insights to senior executives while working closely multiple teams with the publisher development, back-end and front-end developers.

Analyst - Manhattan Beach, California

Work closely with account managers on several large advertiser programs, optimizing campaigns multiple times a week, closely monitoring performance, and using analytical skills to find new opportunities.

You will work in concert with the Clicktripz Analytics team to unlock the full potential of the company’s big data, utilizing business intelligence platforms that tap into the billions of rows of data they store. You will help guide the business development team as they grow our global business, identifying areas of need and of opportunity to bolster revenue. You’ll be involved with both publisher and client reporting and data analysis, and help build out the company’s internal and external reporting and analytics. As a cross-functional player reporting to the VP, Product & Analytics, you will play a key role in structuring analytics and delivering key insights to senior executives while working closely multiple teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing advertiser programs and hitting performance objectives.
  • Making use of large data sets spanning multiple data sources across several products and departments.
  • Writing sql queries.
  • Working with Product and Business Development teams to forecast revenue impact of potential new products and prioritize development.
  • Developing new ways to monitor KPIs across a wide network of advertisers, publishers and products using their BI platform (DOMO).
  • Creating new account management processes and strategies based on collecting and utilizing actionable performance data from advertisers.
  • Answering business questions with data. What would happen to x if y did this? What was the cause behind a change in a specific KPI? What was the result of this A/B test and what does it mean?
  • Identifying and making sense of trends using statistical methods – all while coordinating between business, product and engineering groups to drive business strategies into production.

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience managing or optimizing performance / direct response marketing programs.
  • A data analysis whiz, you love using data to guide business decisions and deliver actionable insights.
  • You have a digital media background and you’re hungry for growth.
